RECOVERY & MENTAL HEALTH COACHING

Strengthening commitment and navigating change

Recovery is one of the most profound and life-affirming journeys a person can undertake — yet it can also be deeply challenging, often marked by ambivalence and self-sabotage. Recovery and mental health coaching strengthens your commitment, provides meaningful accountability, and supports you in navigating complex emotional and behavioural patterns. Together we set goals, build structure around school or work, establish healthy boundaries, and — where appropriate — introduce a suitable 12-step programme.

MEAL SUPPORT

Real-time support around the moments that feel hardest

For many people, meal and snack times are when recovery feels most fragile. Meal support is here to walk with you — reducing anxiety, offering accountability, and helping you complete a meal even when it feels challenging.

What it looks like

Eating alongside you to reduce anxiety, meal and snack-time check-ins (alerts, prompts, accountability), supervised meals and real-time support, and use of Recovery Record alongside your dietitian or nutritionist’s plan.

Format & hours

Available via Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp video — or in-person where practical. Monday to Sunday, 08:00 – 22:00.

Who needs it

Anyone finding meals or snacks difficult to face alone — whether returning to a food plan after a setback, managing rituals, or simply needing a calm presence at the table.

LIFE COACHING & EGO DEVELOPMENT

Building self-esteem, structure and a stronger sense of self

Many individuals benefit from focused ego development work — designed to enhance self-esteem, resilience, sense of purpose and body image. Recovery coaching can extend into broader life coaching, supporting daily structure, task management, effective use of time, and career development. As a Master Practitioner in Neurolinguistic Programming, I also draw on NLP techniques where helpful, with the aim of a life that feels freer and more aligned with who you are.

COMMUNICATION & CONFIDENCE BUILDING

Finding your voice and expressing your needs

Recovery often asks us to speak up — to set boundaries, ask for what we need, and hold our ground with compassion. This work develops skills in boundary-setting, assertiveness, confidence and conflict management, helping you advocate for yourself in treatment, relationships and everyday life. Whether it’s preparing for a difficult conversation with a loved one or employer, practising how to say “no”, or simply asking for the support you actually need, we build it together. Family and parent support sessions are also available for those supporting a loved one in recovery.
